Day 1: Canada - Zagreb (Croatia)

Flight with a good itinerary. 


Day 2: Zagreb

Arrival and transfer to your hotel in Zagreb. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Zagreb. (Dinner)


Day 3: Zagreb - Plitvice

After breakfast, morning city tour of Zagreb including the fortified Upper Town, the city’s historical center, St. Mark’s Church with its multicolored roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theatre, and the University. Continuation to Plitvice for the visit of the spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park, on the UNESCO’s List of World Natural Heritage. Sixteen lakes, each at the different level, are joined in a series of cascading waterfalls. Surrounded by dense wood Plitvice Lakes are a natural phenomenon of rare and unique beauty. Dinner and overnight in Plitvice region. (Breakfast-Dinner)


Day 4: Plitvice - Trogir - Split

Breakfast. Morning departure for Trogir where you will visit the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. Continuation to Split, known for its beaches and the fortress-like complex, the Diocletian's Palace, erected by the Roman emperor in the 4th century. Once home to thousands, its sprawling remains include more than 200 buildings. The city tour of Split includes the Diocletian’s Palace with the Peristyle, the Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Split. (Breakfast-Dinner)


Day 5: Split - Dubrovnik

After breakfast, departure to Dubrovnik for a sightseeing tour of the city. Located in southern Croatia, fronting the Adriatic Sea. The city is known for its distinctive Old Town, encircled with massive stone walls completed in the 16th century. Its well-preserved buildings range from baroque St. Blaise Church to Renaissance Sponza Palace and Gothic Rector’s Palace, now a history museum. Paved with limestone, the pedestrianized Stradun (or Placa) is lined with shops and restaurants. Dubrovnik is in the UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage. You will visit the Franciscan Monastery with Europe’s third oldest pharmacy, the Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik. (Breakfast-Dinner)


Day 6: Dubrovnik

Breakfast. Day at leisure to discover the hidden gems of this beautiful and historic city. Dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik. (Breakfast-Dinner)


Day 7: Dubrovnik - Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) - Sarajevo

After breakfast, departure to Mostar. Sightseeing tour of the Old City recently included in the UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage. We tour its elegant Bridge, Old Bazaar, the Mosque, and a typical Turkish house. Continuation to Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo is a compact city on the Miljacka River, surrounded by the Dinaric Alps. Afternoon city tour of Sarajevo, including Baščaršija and Gazi Husref Bey Mosque. Dinner and overnight in Sarajevo. (Breakfast-Dinner)


Day 8: Sarajevo - Belgrade (Serbia)

After breakfast, departure northwards to Belgrade, with a stop for lunch (not included). Belgrade is the capital of the southeast European country of Serbia. Its most significant landmark is the Beogradska Tvrđava, an imposing fortress at the confluence of the Danube and the Sava rivers. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Belgrade. (Breakfast-Dinner)


Day 9: Belgrade - Zagreb (Croatia)

Breakfast. Morning sightseeing tour of Belgrade. The tour includes a visit of the imposing Kalemegdan Fortress, the Republic Square, Knez Mihajlova Street, and Saint Sava Temple, the largest Orthodox Church in the city. Continuation to Zagreb for dinner and overnight. (Breakfast-Dinner)


Day 10: Zagreb - Canada

After breakfast, transfer to Zagreb airport to catch your flight back home. (Breakfast)
