  • Day 3: Rome - Assisi - Siena - Florence

Following the breakfast at your hotel, you will have a welcome brief with your tour leader before departing around 7:30 am from your hotel to Assisi. Upon arrival you will have some time at leisure to explore this historic town surrounded by walls built in the Middle Ages. After lunch at leisure in Assisi, you will continue to Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for the Palio, a historical horse race around the shell-shaped town square Piazza del Campo. Before moving towards Florence, you will enjoy some free time in Siena to discover the medieval city center. Check in at your hotel before having dinner around 7h30pm. Overnight at the hotel in Florence. (Breakfast-Dinner)

  • Day 4: Florence

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will meet your local guide for an exciting tour of Florence, known as “The Cradle of the Renaissance.” Learn how this city, with its Etruscan-Roman roots, blossomed and emerged as a vibrant center of art and culture. During your guided tour, marvel at the stunning Santa Maria del Fiore, or the Duomo, with its remarkable dome. You will see the iconic Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and the beautiful exterior of the Basilica of Santa Croce, all while immersing yourself in the rich history that defines this enchanting city.

Enjoy your lunch at a typical Tuscan restaurant before spending the afternoon at leisure (return transfer to the hotel not included). You can explore the cobblestone streets of Florence or choose an optional trip to Pisa (approximately 50 euros per person, payable in cash). In Pisa, you will visit the Piazza dei Miracoli, home to the Duomo, the world-famous Leaning Tower, and the Baptistery. Dinner at leisure and overnight at the hotel in Florence. (Breakfast-Lunch)

  • Day 5: Florence - Bologna - Venice

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure toward Bologna where you will discover an elegant city center with its almost 40km-long porticoes that are one of the defining features of the city's architecture. From the Piazza Malpighi, you will walk to the Piazza del Nettuno and the Piazza Maggiore in the heart of the city, then you will see the Palazzo Podestà and finally the Basilica of San Petronio, one of the biggest Gothic churches in the world. Bologna is a true food lover’s paradise. Experience an authentic and light street food lunch, savoring the authentic flavors that define its renowned gastronomic identity.

Later in the afternoon, you will arrive in Venice, "The City of Love", one of the most romantic cities in the world and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities on Earth! Dinner at leisure and overnight at your hotel in Venice. (Breakfast - Light lunch)

  • Day 6: Venice

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Piazza San Marco and visit some of the most iconic places of the beautiful ‘Floating City’: The Palazzo dei Dogi, a symbol of Venice's glorious past, and the legendary Rialto Bridge, the oldest of four bridges spanning the Grand Canal, which is bustling with gondolas. After the walking tour, you will enjoy a taste of the famous 'Cicchetti', a Venetian variation of tapas alongside a glass of spritz or prosecco. The rest of the day is free for you to roam along Venice’s canals and palaces (return transfer to the hotel is not included). Dinner at leisure and overnight in Venice. (Breakfast - Light lunch)

  • Day 7: Venice - Montepulciano (Tuscany wine region) - Rome

Your journey will take you to Val di Chiana, with a stop in Montepulciano, a medieval town famous for its "Vino Nobile," available at local wine shops. Montepulciano also hosts an annual jazz and wine festival every July. Upon arrival in Montepulciano, you will enjoy an included lunch at a typical restaurant. You will then have some free time to discover this city before making your way to Rome. Dinner at leisure and overnight in Rome. (Breakfast-Lunch)

  • Day 8: Rome

Following an early morning breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a guided morning tour of the Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel, using your "Skip the Line" tickets. Upon arrival, your local guide will take you through one of the world's most significant art collections. You’ll stroll through the stunning Galleries of Tapestries and Geographical Maps, admire Raphael’s Rooms, and marvel at the Sistine Chapel, completed in the 16th century. The tour will conclude in St. Peter's Square.

You will then enjoy lunch at your leisure before making your own way (either by public transportation or taking a taxi) to the most emblematic site of Ancient Rome: The Roman Forum. You’ll embark on a 3-hour guided tour, starting with the iconic Arch of Constantine and continuing through the historic Roman Forum, once the vibrant heart of Ancient Rome. Your guide will transport you back in time, allowing you to envision life as a Roman citizen 2,000 years ago. Next, you’ll visit the legendary Palatine Hill, where Rome was said to have been founded. Your tour will conclude with stunning views of the Colosseum (from the outside), where Ancient Romans once gathered to witness gladiatorial contests and staged animal hunts. You will then enjoy your evening at leisure and return to your hotel on your own. Overnight at your hotel in Rome. (Breakfast)

  • Day 9: Rome - Pompeii - Sorrento

After breakfast at the hotel in Rome, you will head south along the so-called Sun Highway, crossing the fertile Roman countryside and the Castelli Romani area, dotted with medieval villages. Upon arrival, you will stop for lunch at a local pizzeria, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy an authentic Neapolitan pizza.

Early afternoon, you will enter one of the most important archaeological sites in the world: the ruins of Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, using a "Skip the Line" ticket with a local guide. You will discover the captivating ruins of Pompeii, stepping back in time to the significant events of 79 AD. Experience the fascinating history of this once-thriving Roman city, which was preserved by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. As you explore the remnants of ancient life, you'll gain insight into the resilience and culture of the people who lived there, making for an unforgettable journey into the past. You will learn how people lived during that time by visiting ancient houses and "bars," admiring frescoes and mosaics, and imagining the city's richness and prosperity before that fateful day. After your visit, you will drive along the Sorrentine Coast, enjoying stunning views of the sea and cliffs. Upon arrival in Sorrento, you will enjoy dinner and overnight at your hotel. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

What is the average cost of a meal?

Most of your meals are included, which minimizes your expenses at destination. For the other meals, the cost can vary from €12 to €35 depending if you eat light (like a sandwich, a pizza, a salad) or if you choose a full meal. For a nice supper with starter, main course, desert and wine, count about €40 / person.

Is it possible to add extras nights?

Yes, you may add extra nights to your package. However, for this tour, we can add nights only in Rome before or after the tour. Simply make the request with your reservation agent who will change your flights accordingly. We can include the same hotel or you may stay under your own arrangements. The price will be confirmed by your agent depending on availability.

Any important notes for this package?

With 2025 being a Jubilee year in Italy, the Vatican may be hosting unique religious events, which could lead to unforeseen closures of St. Peter’s Basilica or parts of the Vatican Museums. However, this also means a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness historic celebrations in Rome.

Yes, the bus has AC and Wi-Fi. Also, the tour makes frequent rest stops.
