Day 1: Canada - Zagreb (Croatia)
Departure flight to Zagreb.
Day 2: Zagreb
Arrival at the airport in Zagreb. You will be greeted by our local representatives after exiting customs and transferred to your hotel in Zagreb. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or start your exploration of Croatia's capital city. Dinner and overnight in Zagreb. (Dinner)
Day 3: Zagreb - Ljubljana (Slovenia)
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you'll embark on a walking sightseeing tour of Zagreb, Croatia's largest city. This tour will take you through the fortified Upper Town, the historical center of the city, and to notable landmarks such as St. Mark's church with its multicolored roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theatre, and the University. Your journey continues towards Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. You will have an afternoon tour where you'll visit the city's most significant landmarks in its historic center, including the picturesque Central Open-air Market, the Three Bridges, the Baroque Town Hall, and Robber's Fountain. Dinner and overnight in the Ljubljana area. (Breakfast - Dinner)
Day 4: Ljubljana – Bled - Plitvice lakes area
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a departure towards Bled, a charming town located in the Julian Alps, considered one of the most stunning alpine resorts in the world. Surrounded by mountains and forests, Bled boasts an emerald glacial lake that seems straight out of a fairy tale. You will be visiting Bled’s Castle, the oldest in Slovenia and one of the most visited tourist attractions in the country. You will then continue your journey towards the Plitvice Lakes area. Dinner and overnight in Plitvice. (Breakfast - Dinner)
Day 5: Plitvice Lakes area - Omiš
Breakfast at the hotel before heading towards the Plitvice Lakes, a well-known UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will walk around this site of rare beauty that will take your breath away. It features sixteen different lakes, each at varying levels, interconnected by a series of magnificent waterfalls in mesmerizing shades of blue. Then, you will be headed towards Omiš, where you'll embark on your M/Y Lupus Mare cruise. In the afternoon, you can explore Omiš by our own, following by a dinner onboard before settling down for the night in Omiš. (Breakfast - Dinner)
Day 6: Omiš – Island of Vis
Following your breakfast on board, you will sail toward the Island of Vis. Along the way, enjoy a refreshing swim near the Pakleni Islands an idyllic archipelago renowned for its hidden coves and pristine beaches. Lunch on board as you continue your journey towards Vis, once a hidden military base, open to the public for the last 25 years. The city will reveal its stunning landscapes, renowned wines, and true Dalmatian cuisine. You will enjoy your afternoon at leisure by diving into the island’s history and natural beauty. Alternatively, you can choose to participate in an optional excursion to the island of Biševo ($) or a Military tour ($). Dinner at leisure and overnight on the ship in Vis. (Breakfast – Lunch)
Day 7: Vis – Korčula (Island of Korčula)
After breakfast on board, you will set off for the Island of Korčula. You will take a break en route for refreshing dip in the sea and an included lunch in a secluded cove near Korčula. You will then arrive in the afternoon at Korčula, renowned for its captivating Moreska sword dance and medieval heritage.You will enjoy a guided walking tour by starting at the iconic Land Gate, where history and architecture come alive. Wander through the narrow, cobblestone alleyways, lined with Renaissance buildings and charming artisan shops. You will admire the majestic Cathedral of St. Mark and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the waterfront promenade, offering breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea. According to legend, Korčula is the birthplace of the great explorer Marco Polo, adding an intriguing layer to the town’s charm. Dinner at leisure and overnight on the ship in Korčula. Day 8: Korčula – Dubrovnik
Breakfast on board. Today you will set sail for the stunning city of Dubrovnik. On your way, you can enjoy an optional visit to the Peljesac Peninsula ($) including an exquisite wine tasting and savor the flavors of Dalmatia. Then, you will stop for a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters following by a lunch on board. Arrival in Dubrovnik early in the afternoon, you will enjoy a guided walking tour and immerse yourself in the city’s rich history, cultural heritage with a stroll through the Old Town. You will discover its iconic landmarks including the city walls, Stradun, Rector’s Palace, and the famous city gates. Day 9: Dubrovnik – Pomena (Island of Mljet)
After breakfast on board, you will head for the Island of Mljet. Upon arrival in Pomena, you will enjoy your day at leisure by immersing yourself further in the island’s serene atmosphere. You can also opt to join our optional excursion ($) to visit the national park, one of Croatia’s hidden gems. The park boasts two salty lakes connected by a narrow canal to the sea. The larger lake is home to a charming islet at its center, which houses a 12th-century Benedictine monastery. You will enjoy your free time to immerse yourself further in the island’s serene atmosphere. In the evening, savor a captain's dinner, a special culinary experience with specialties. Day 10: Mjlet – Hvar (Island of Hvar)
Following breakfast on board, you will sail for the Island of Hvar, renowned for being one of the sunniest destinations in Europe. Lunch included on board before sailing towards Hvar. Upon arrival in the afternoon in this charming town, you will enjoy a guided walking tour where you will explore the town’s rich history and captivating atmosphere. Stroll through its cobbled streets lined with stunning architecture and immerse yourself in one of Croatia’s oldest and most vibrant towns. Dinner at leisure and overnight on board in Hvar. Day 11: Hvar – Split – Omiš
Enjoy your breakfast on board before departing toward the historic city of Split. On your way, you will make a stop for a refreshing swim in one of the picturesque bays. Lunch included on board before sailing to Split. Once home to Roman Emperor Diocletian, Split is a vibrant city steeped in history. Within its ancient walls, the city flourished into a lively hub of shops, restaurants, and ice cream parlors. You will enjoy a guided walking tour in which you will uncover the stories behind Split’s captivating history. You will explore Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with Roman-era architecture, marvel at Saint Domnius Cathedral, visit Peristyle Square and the Temple of Jupiter, and stroll along the lively Riva promenade by the waterfront. The whole tour experience operated seamlessly. The tour operators and tour guides did a fantastic job. I appreciated that the tour operators were able to change the schedule to accommodate weather changes. The days offered a good mix of tours and free time for independent exploration.
